Frank “Fats” J. Yandrasitz, 88, formerly of Northampton, died July 21, 2021, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Thomas) Shedmock.
Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Adolph Yandrasitz and Theresa (Rainbeck) Schmall.
He was a 1950 graduate of Northampton High School.
He was in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Northampton, until he retired in 1988 after 37 years.
He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Whitehall.
He was a life member of the Catholic War Veterans Post 454, and the Northampton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4714. He was a life member of the Alliance Fire Company and the Northampton Liederkranz.
He is survived by two stepdaughters, Karen Lubenetski and her husband Tom and Susan Tardone; three granddaughters, Jessica Powell and her husband Stephen and Emily Lubenetski; and a great-grandson, Elliot.
He was predeceased by a brother; and three sisters.
There will be gathering time 9 a.m. until the prayer service 11 a.m. July 30 in the funeral home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton.
