Fellowship Community is partnering with Specialty Moves by Design to host a six-part series to address some of the biggest issues people have when contemplating a move.

The first presentation is 3 p.m. Sept. 9 and continues at the same time each Thursday through Oct. 14. The presentations, led by Jill Kearney, are held in the Zentz Community Center, 3020 Fellowship Drive, Whitehall.

Presentation themes include choosing where to retire, Sept. 9; the joy of a decluttered home, Sept. 16; how to stage your home to sell, Sept. 23; how to avoid the chaos of an unmanaged move, Sept. 30; when to choose aging in place, Oct. 7; and an introduction to specialty move managers, Oct. 14.

Kearney is founder and CEO of Specialty Moves by Design. Together, she and her team have moved more than 1,500 clients from old homes to new homes for more than a decade.

Kearney lives in the Lehigh Valley and speaks regionally and nationally. She has twice served on the board of directors of the National Association of Senior and Specialty Move Managers and is now offering an in-depth planning course, available online, called The Ultimate Planner for Finding Your Next Home in Retirement.
