Clair C. Beaver, 86, of Slatington, died July 24, 2021, in Phoebe Home, Allentown.

He was the husband of the late Marilyn A. (Kressly) Beaver.

Born Feb. 20, 1935, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Clayton Clair and Dorothy A. (Schmoyer) Beaver.

He was a shop foreman and safety inspector at Chemical Leaman Tank Lines Inc. and MTS for many years before retiring.

He was a member of Jordan Evangelical Lutheran Church, Orefield, and Jordan Lodge 192, I.O.O.F., Schnecksville.

His survivors include children Clair J. Beaver of Easton, Sharon A. Hock (David) of Jackson Center, Yvonne M. Longenberger (Harry), with whom he resided; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Egypt Cemetery, Whitehall. There will be no public calling hours.
