Christine M. Bachman, 95, of Breinigsville, died July 22, 2021, in Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown.

She was the wife of the late Clarence E. Bachman Jr.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Flora (Scarce) Slifer.

She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Allentown.

Before retiring, she was a clerk at the Goodwill Store for 23 years. Before that, she worked at General Electric.

In her earlier years, she played drums in an all-girls orchestra called the Swingets, a band her mother started.

Her survivors include sons Clarence E. III and his wife, Carol, Daryl K. and his wife, Dianne, and Brian K. and his wife, Lynn; grandchildren Chad, Jason, Dana and Kevin; great-grandchildren Anthony, Nicholas, Katie and Riley.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Lisa George, twin brothers Joseph and Jack, and sister Dorothy Hershman.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. July 30 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 802 N. 19th St., Allentown. Calling will begin 10 a.m.
