Anna “Ginger” L. Seier, 92, of Whitehall and formally of Northampton, died July 18, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Robert Seier.
She was a daughter of the late John D. and Mary D. (Rauer) Csencsitz.
She was a 1947 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School. She was a member of the class reunion committee for many years.
She was a former member of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church, Northampton. She was a current member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall.
She was a member of St. John’s Altar and Rosary Society. She volunteered with St. John’s pierogie group, the school library and bingo programs. She sewed baptismal garments for the church.
She was a waitress at the West Coplay Maennerchor and for private events.
She was a volunteer for many years at the Ecumenical Soup Kitchen, Allentown, associated with St. Nicholas Church, Berlinsville. She bowled at St. Joe’s and the American Club. She was a member of the American Club’s Dolly Madisons during the country’s bicentennial.
She is survived by two sons, Robert and his wife Kathy and David and his wife Ann Marie; two grandchildren, Rose Medina and Alexander Barnas; two great-grandchildren, Alivia and Lyla; nieces; and nephews.
She was predeceased by five brothers, John, Stephen, Joseph, Frank and Louis; and two sisters, Theresa and Mary.
