Congratulations to Allen Township Fire Company No. 1 and East Allen Township Fire Department for their wins at the Northampton Borough Fire Department’s Fireman’s Parade, held July 10.

The stations earned the following accolades:

• Most functional engine, 2003-13, second place, Allen Township Fire Company No. 1

• Most functional aerial tower, first place, East Allen Township Fire Department

• Most functional tender, first place, Allen Township Fire Company No. 1

• Most functional rescue, second place, East Allen Township Fire Department

• Most functional brush/mini pumper, first place, Allen Township Fire Company No. 1

The sixth annual Northampton Area School District Student Council car show will be 9 a.m.-3 p.m. July 31 at Bicentennial Park West, 5351 Park West Lane, East Allen Township.

Rain date is Aug. 1.

East Allen Township Farmers Market is open 3-7 p.m. Wednesdays at Bicentennial Park West, 5351 Park West Lane, Bethlehem.

Unangst Tree Farms, 1300 Beth-Bath Pike, East Allen Township, hosts a food truck festival 4-8 p.m. each Wednesday until September.

Each week features nearly a dozen food trucks, musicians and hayrides.

There are several picnic tables, but it is recommended you bring your own picnic blankets or lawn chairs.
