Phyllis M. Rothermel, 85, of Allentown, died July 19, 2021, in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall.

She and her husband, John E. Rothermel, were married 56 years.

Born Dec. 2, 1935, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Irwin M. and Verna S.E. (Fenstermaker) Rauch.

She was an accountant manager at the former Trojan Powder Company.

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, South Whitehall.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter and a granddaughter.

She was predeceased by her brother Carlton I. Rauch.

A funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. July 23 in Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Barbara Lee officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 12:30-1:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Entombment will follow the service at Grandview Cemetery, Chapel of Eternity, South Whitehall.
