Northampton AARP Chapter 3915 will not hold any social meetings at this time, per recommendations from the national association.
Chapter 3915 plans to resume meetings in September. Members will be notified of any changes to the schedule.

Queenship of Mary Catholic Church will hold its annual church festival 11:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Aug. 8 on the church grounds, 1324 Newport Ave.
Food will include ethnic favorites like pierogies, longos (fried dough), cabbage and noodles and Vietnamese egg rolls. There will also be hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage sandwiches, turkey barbecues, funnel cake fries, french fries, Mario’s pizza, macaroni and cheese, ice cream, assorted soft drinks, along with a beer and wine tent.
A bake sale will take place in the church social hall. There will also be a cash raffle and a basket raffle.
The Dave Betz Polka band will be performing 11:30 a.m.-2:45 p.m., and Flirtin’ with the Mob performs 3:30-6:45 p.m. Kandi’s Karicatures will also be at the event 2-6 p.m.

July is re-registration month at Northampton Area Food Bank, 1601 Canal St.
The building is open 9:30-11:45 a.m. Wednesdays for registration. ID is required. You should reside in Northampton Area School District or check with the food bank. You will need names and birth dates of everyone living with you full time.
The next distribution is 5-7 p.m. July 22.
The food bank is open 9:30 a.m.-noon Wednesdays for questions and donation drop-offs.

Atlas Cement Company Memorial Museum, 1401 Laubach Ave., will be open 1-3 p.m. July 25.
Visitors must wear masks, and staff reserve the right to limit the number of people.
