Jeffrey R. Wimmer, 63, died July 14, 2021, at home.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Stanley R. and the late Phyllis C. (Ruser) Wimmer. He was the stepson of MaryAnn (Christoff) Wimmer of Whitehall.

He was a 1975 graduate of Whitehall High School. He studied criminal justice at Kutztown University.

He was a deputy sheriff for the county of Los Angeles. He was later in life a caddie at Saucon Valley Country Club.

In addition to his father and stepmother, he is survived by a brother, Richard Wimmer of Dade City, Fla.; two sisters, Sheri Wimmer of Walnutport and Lisa Franko and companion Tony Stellar of Schnecksville; a niece, Lindsay Franko and fiance Ewin MacFarlane of Sydney, Australia; and a nephew, Griffin Franko of Fort Worth, Texas.

A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. July 24 in The Carriage House of Olde Homestead Golf Course, 6598 PA-309, New Tripoli, 18066, followed by a celebration of life and refreshments until 7 p.m. Golf and casual attire are requested.
