Theresa A. Torbey, 74, of Coplay, died July 10, 2021, in Sacred Heart Senior Living by the Creek.

The beloved wife of Richard J. Torbey, the couple shared more than 27 loving years together and would have celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary on July 10.

Born in Buffalo, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Genevieve (Czarkowski) Tokarsky.

A 1964 graduate of Bishop Colton High School, Buffalo, she was a senior client associate for Wells Fargo for many years.

She was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Egypt.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by a stepdaughter Angela (Wellington) Pitman of Bethlehem; brother Thomas Tokarsky of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister Rosemarie Garbo of West Seneca, N.Y.; step-grandchildren Christopher, Ana and Abigail Pitman; and step-great-grandchild Christopher Pitman.

Her memorial service will be 11 a.m. July 31 in Brubaker Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay.

Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
