Richard K. “Rick” Nau, 66, of Orefield, died peacefully July 10, 2021, surrounded by his loving family in his home, after fighting a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
He and his wife, Faith B. (Ohm) Nau, were married 32 years on June 1.
Born Nov. 14, 1954, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown, he was the son of Karl H. and Grace A (Conrad) Nau.
Best known for his ability to work magic in the garage, his pastime passion was rebuilding engines.
He was employed by Carpenters Union Local 620 for many years.
Before retiring, he was also employed by Phoenix Construction, Allentown.
In addition to loving wife, he is survived by a son Troy Nau and his wife, Christy, of Montoursville; daughter Morgan Nau of Whitehall; grandson Owen J. Nau; sisters Evonne Brewster of North Carolina, and Cindy Nau of Allentown.
He was predeceased by his daughter Lindsay Nau. He will be lovingly remembered by many sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, best friend “Bum,” and many more.
