St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., is in need of volunteers to help clean the church once a month. Each week, a different group of altar guild volunteers take turns cleaning the church after morning Mass.

You would only need to give time once a month to this ministry. Light housekeeping, including dusting, vacuuming and sweeping, is the primary duty.

If your child will be 4 before October 2021, now is the time to enroll him or her in prekindergarten at St. Elizabeth’s. There are four openings left for the 2021-22 school year.

The enrollment period ends Aug. 1.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., is asking members to sign up for the church’s email blasts.

They are sent out periodically to provide updated information about upcoming church events.

The Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., will be resuming monthly bingo 2 p.m. July 25.

Doors open 1 p.m. for refreshments and sale of packages. Packages and specials prices will remain the same.

Refreshments will be on sale.

There will be a special “welcome back” surprise for all.
