Deborah L. Howells, 58, of Slatington, died July 7, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She and her husband, Timothy H. Howells, were married 36 years last September.

Born Oct. 14, 1962, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Theresa (Fox) Koren.

She was a benefits coordinator for I.B.E.W. Local 375, Allentown, before retiring.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Matthew S. Howells (Alyssa); daughter Megan M. Cope (James); all of Slatington; sisters Theresa Check (Dennis) of Breinigsville, Katherine Fetter (Dennis) of Treichlers, and Christine Marth (John) and Rosemary Wertz (Jake), all of Coplay; grandchildren Cole, Lily, Emma and Brynnlee.
