Charles “Carley” F. Tepes, 69, of Lehigh Township, died July 9, 2021. He was the husband of Marie C. (Miller) Tepes for 48 years.

Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Louis Sr. and Margaret (Stranzl) Tepes

He was a Whitehall High School graduate.

He was a private second class in the Army National Guard during peacetime.

He was a carpenter for Mellon Certified Restoration, Allentown, for 10 years until he retired in 2016. He previously was a carpenter for Tepes Construction, Northampton, for 30 years.

He was a longtime member of the Gypsie Sportsmen Motorcycle Club, Lehigh Valley; and a lifetime social member of the Reading Motorcycle Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Louis J. Tepes Jr. and his wife Bernice of Northampton; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Gabriel Tepes; nephews; and nieces.

He was predeceased by a son, Joel J.; and a brother, Joseph.

Future celebration of life services will be announced.
