The Chelsea Lyn Meyer Band will perform 7-10 p.m. July 16 as part of Catasauqua’s free summer concert series at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.
The concert is sponsored by J.P. Mascaro.
Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs and blankets and dancing shoes.

The Morning Glories of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Fourth and Pine streets, will hold its next meeting 10 a.m. July 19. The speaker will be Sherri Binder, Ph.D., executive director of Ripple Inc.
Donations of items for Ripple can be found in the church’s bulletin.

Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua’s next free monthly community lunch is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. July 19 at the church, 210 Pine St. Reportedly, 83 people were served at the meal June 21.
Hunger is a reminder all people need to be nourished and empowered to face daily blessings and strife. Whatever one’s circumstance, come to the table or to the outdoor tent to grab a to-go curbside meal.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., is having a buy one, get one free sale on all men’s clothing through July 23. The current hours are 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Volunteers are happy to accept donations of good, used, clean clothing during store hours.
Proceeds from the shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.

The Catasauqua/North Catasauqua senior group will hold its next monthly meeting July 21 at the Slovak Social Center social club, Fifth and Grove streets, North Catasauqua. Doors open noon, and the meeting starts 1 p.m.
