Marilyn M. Oswald, 92, of New Tripoli, died June 29, 2021 at home.
She was the widow of Russell T. “Blackie” Oswald.
Born in Pleasant Corners, she was a daughter of the late Ralph D. and Viola E. (Leibensperger) Weaver.
During her life, she worked as an executive secretary, first at Western Electric, then General Electric, as a full-time mother and homemaker, and at ALPO before becoming co-owner of Weaver Fuels.
She was a dedicated member of New Life Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Tripoli, and spent many years as secretary of Ebenezer Lutheran Church.
Her survivors include a daughter Bonita Oswald-Repp of St. Croix; sons David R. Oswald (Lynn Liscka) of Upper Macungie Township and Larry D. Oswald (Christine) of New Tripoli: grandchildren Jessica Pitera (Michael) of New Jersey, Alyssa Metzger (Jacob) of New Tripoli, Michael Oswald (Katie Aunkst) of Schnecksville, and Derek Oswald of Lower Macungie Township; and great-grandsons Eli and Theo Metzger.
She was predeceased by her only sibling, Jean Schrimmer.
