Are you ready for Christmas? Christmas in July, that is.

From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. July 25, Whitehall Township and Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce are hosting a Christmas-themed event at the barn on the Peter Grim Homestead, 1111 Lehnert Road, Whitehall.

At the event, which has been rescheduled from December 2020, there will be vendors and crafters, live music, barn lighting, food and beverages for purchase and take-and-go crafts for kids.

There is no rain date.

Come on out for a fun time with family, friends and neighbors.

Reminder: Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, has started one worship time, which begins 9 a.m., for the summer.

Two services will resume Sept. 12 - 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold Vacation Bible School 6-8 p.m. Aug. 12 and 13 at the church and noon Aug. 14 at Lehigh Valley Zoo. The theme is “Noah’s Ark.”

There is no admission cost at Lehigh Valley Zoo for VBS participants.

VBS is for students in prekindergarten up to and including sixth grade.

From 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 16, Faith Evangelical Lutheran will host a Miller/Keystone blood drive.

Looking ahead, Faith Evangelical is planning its holiday craft and quilt fair 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 13 and will be held indoors and outdoors.
