Student earns degree

Kyle S. Hoffman, formerly of Emmaus, recently received his doctorate in microbiology in the veterinary pathobiology department. Hoffman, a member of the Emmaus High School Class of 2011, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and Bachelor of Science in biotechnology and a minor in chemistry from East Stroudsburg University. He will complete post-doctoral training with the United States Department of Agriculture in Ames, Iowa.
