Colleen Marie Chryst, of Whitehall, died in her home June 24, 2021, while under hospice care from St. Luke’s University Health Network.

Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Kathleen (Schaffer) Mullins.

She was a licensed practical nurse for St. Luke’s University Health Network, where she was a trauma and hospice nurse for almost four decades. She worked most recently with St. Luke’s Neurosurgical Associates.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton.

She is survived by two daughters, Abby Marie Chryst Hoffman and her husband Thomas of Newport, R.I., and Allyson V. Chryst Seibert of Pottsville; a brother, Richard D. Mullins and his wife Barbara of Sneads Ferry, N.C.; former spouse, Thomas E. Chryst of Wescosville; a sister-in-law, Laurie Rohrbach of Allentown; family; friends; and former co-workers.

Services will be private.

Contributions may be made to the church, 575 Grape St., Whitehall, 18052; and/or St. Luke’s Hospice House, 2455 Black River Road, Bethlehem, 18015.
