Courtesy city of Bethlehem website In recognition of the many accomplishments of Mayor Ken Smith during his time in office, including the complete rebuilding of the Penn Forrest Dam, costing $60 million, serving as chairman during the 250th anniversary of the City of Bethlehem and the restoration of Sand Island into a great recreational facility, that facility was named in his honor June 30.
