Florence Miele, 88, of Schnecksville, died June 16, 2021, in her home.

She was the wife of the late Frank T. Miele.

Born Sept. 4, 1932, in Brooklyn, Kings County, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Caccavale) Caravella.

She was a business owner for many years, and in addition, she was a successful bookkeeper.

A member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield, she founded the Senior Friendship Group at the parish.

She was also a member of the Schnecksville Senior Citizens.

Her survivors include daughters Joanne Miele (Heberto Labrada) of Annandale, N.J., Donna Scandariato (Joseph) and Carole Miele, all of Schnecksville; grandchildren Kimberly, Jeffrey, Alexis, Ashley; brother Joseph Caravella of Islip, N.Y.; and sister Geraldine Maffettone of Winter Park, Fla.
