Brenda Barton, 74, of Fogelsville, died peacefully on June 15, 2021, in her beloved home surrounded by lots of love from her children, family and friends.
She was the wife of the late Dean F. Barton.
Born March 9, 1947, in Salem, N.J., she was the daughter of the late David and Mary (Lesh) Davis.
A graduate of the former Upsala College with a Bachelor’s degree in sociology and Rutgers University with a Master’s of psychiatric social work, she was the founder of the former Barton Counseling, Fogelsville, for 47 years before retiring in 2018.
A member of The First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, she will always be remembered as a loving grandmother to her precious granddaughters.
Her interests include traveling, being curious to learn new things, laughing and having the ability to find the best in everyone.
Her survivors include children Nathan D. Barton of Allentown, Adriane E. Ulicny and her husband, Joseph, of Macungie; granddaughters Abigail M. and Arielle E. Ulicny; and brother Bill Davis of Alloway, N.J.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. June 29 at The First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, 3231 W. Tilghman St., Allentown, with the Rev. Stephen T. Emick officiating.
Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the church narthex.
Private interment will follow the service at Union Hill Cemetery, Kennett Square, Chester County.
