Tyler D. Long, 49, of Emmaus, beloved son of Nancy and Elmer Long, of Emmaus, died June 18, 2021, in Rehoboth Beach, Del.
He graduated from Emmaus High School and Pennsylvania School of Technology. He was employed by the Times News, Inc., of Lehighton, for 31 years.
Tyler loved his work, often working through pain to finish it. He was an expert fisherman at an early age and delighted in winning the “boat pools” after an excursion.
He will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents; a brother, Thomas (Tammy), of Dillsburg; sisters, Jennifer Strobl (Rod), of Emmaus, Kara Kroh (Eric), of Enola; first nieces and nephews, Jessica McMekin; Taylor, Thomas and Trenton; Kevin and Shalease Strobl; Justin, Jared and Cassidy Kroh; great-nieces and nephews, Harper, Kevin and Saj.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.
