Ina S. Scimeca, 83, of Lower Macungie, died peacefully June 17, 2021. Born in Norfolk, Va., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Fanny (Capin) Spilka.
Throughout her life, she remained young at heart and was often told that she didn’t look her age, which she loved hearing. She was vibrant, spunky and fun loving with a great sense of humor.
After graduating high school, she attended business school and worked as an administrative assistant for her father who was a lawyer in Norfolk. Over the years, she was a furniture salesperson, Avon Lady and eyeglass salesperson.
Her passions besides being with family were her precious Yorkies, golf, playing bridge and Yahtzee and watching sports, especially football.
She generously spent time volunteering at the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, Humane Society and Perfect Fit.
She is survived by her children: Marci E. and her husband, Michael Munchak, of Englewood, Colo., Jeffrey A. Heicklen, of Lower Macungie Township, Jay S. Heicklen, of South Whitehall Township, Lisa D. Binder, of North Wales; grandchildren: Tanya, Alexandria, Julie, Tyler, Kyle, Sarah; great-grandchildren: Emilia, Noah; beloved Yorkie, Evie. She was predeceased by brothers, Mickey and Harold.

A celebration of her life will be held 3 p.m. June 26 at the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 274 N. Krocks Road, Allentown. There will be a time to gather after the service.
