George S. Yanochko Sr., 92, of Lower Macungie Township, died June 10, 2021, in his home. He was the husband of the late Anne (Charney) Yanochko. Born in Emmaus, one of five children, he was a son of the late John and Anna (Kocis) Yanochko.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and earned the rank of corporal.

He was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, Allentown.

He was employed at Bell Labs for many years.

He is survived by a son, George Jr.; a brother, John and his wife, Kay; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Andrew and a daughter, Roslyn Whitner.

Services are private. Arrangements entrusted to the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
