It has been a long 15 months, but the day has finally arrived. Whitehall Active Community Center, a senior center located at the playground building at 2301 Pine St., West Catasauqua, has reopened as of June 14 for all activities. These activities include daily lunch, exercise classes and bingo.

Daily lunches must be ordered in advance. Call 610-443-0675 to reserve the day you would like to have lunch. You can view the June menu on the center’s Facebook page by searching Whitehall Active Community Center.

For exercise classes, instructor Sara will have class for chair yoga with stretch and strength, and instructor Bob will have a Tai Chai class. There is a fee for these classes, unless you have Silver Sneakers or Silver Fit. Class schedules will also be posted on the Facebook page.

Bean bag games will also be continued for anyone interested.

Thursday bingo games resume June 17, following a 12:30 p.m. lunch.

Sunday bingo will resume June 27.

Members and organizers are happy to welcome everyone back to the senior center and look forward to seeing you in person.
