Joseph D. Feskanin, 86, died June 6, 2021. He was the husband of Joan A. (Yurick) Feskanin for 63 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Yaschur) Feskanin.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Lehigh University in 1957. He did graduate work at the University of Connecticut.
He was involved with aircraft engines, electronics, nuclear weapons, material handling, steel, textiles and consulting for 50 years. He taught electrical technology at Northampton Community College.
He was on the advisory board for electronic technology at Lehigh Carbon Community College for 15 years.
He was an industrial mentor and consultant for 20 years at the Enterprise Systems Center, Lehigh University. He was a member of the Airline Owners and Pilots Association, Air Force Association and the American Air Museum, Britain. He was a sustaining member of the Wings of History Museum, San Martin, Calif.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Joseph M. and his wife Kaye; two grandchildren, Joseph Carl and Alyssa Feskanin of Morgan Hill, Calif.; and two daughters, Catherine of Jenkintown and Carol of Tampa, Fla.
