JoAnn Helen Thomas, 74, of Coplay, died June 7, 2021. She was the wife of Joseph Thomas for 52 years.

She was a daughter of the late James and Helen Faulkner.

She was a mother to many children during her 40 years of service in the foster care system.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Joseph and his wife Carolyn and their children Seth and Luke, Jeffry and James; a daughter, Ana; and a sister, Georgette Butler.

She was predeceased by a brother, Richard.
