Coplay: Parkway Pool set to open June 19; Aqua Zumba starts June 21
Parkway Pool will open June 19.
Hours for June are noon-7 p.m. Season passes are now available.
The popular Aqua Zumba class restarts June 21. It runs 6-7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays for ages 14 and up. There is a cost.

Reminder: Coplay Saengerbund, 205 S. Fifth St., has announced its summer entertainment.
The next Friday outdoor concert is Ricky and the Rebels June 18.
Upcoming bands will include Sons of Izzy June 25 and American Street Band July 2.
The Sunday polka schedule is Joe Kroboth June 20 and Emil Schanta June 27 and July 11. There will be no entertainment July 4.
Gates open 5 p.m., as does the bar, for the Friday events and 3 p.m. for the Sunday events. The kitchen opens 5:30 p.m. both days.
There is a cover charge. Members may sign in two guests.

There is an all-you-can-eat breakfast set for 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. June 20 at Commitment to Family and Community, 165 Cherry St.

The Coplay summer entertainment series will begin 6:15-9:15 p.m. June 23 with the Chas Band playing music from the 1950s to the present.
The concerts are held at Community Plaza, North Second and Chestnut streets. The series will run every other Wednesday through September. There is no admission fee.
There is an Arts in the Plaza event planned for July 28, in conjunction with the live music.
The Jeni Hackett duo will perform while local artists share their talents.

The Coplay Scholarship Fund Committee is offering two $500 scholarships to Coplay kids who just graduated from high school and plan to attend a university or college, the police academy or a career/technical school.

The Coplay Community Days festival begins 5 p.m. Aug. 27 and runs through Aug. 29 at the Coplay Parkway, Second and Keefer streets.

St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., is seeking volunteers to make pierogies.
Production resumed June 14.
