James H. Atiyeh, 78, of Macungie, died June 5, 2021, at Parkland Manor. He was the husband of Janet Fisher-Atiyeh. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Harvey and Elizabeth (Solomon) Atiyeh.
He was an expert in automobile parts, originally in charge of the service department at Solomon Lincoln-Mercury in Bethlehem, then as a salesman at SOS Metal Products.
He was a graduate of Allentown High School and Bethlehem Business College.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Orthodox Church, Emmaus and St. George Orthodox Church, Allentown
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was loved by all and just an all-around great guy.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Jennifer and her husband, Paul Ashley, of Nazareth, Janine, of Chattanooga, Tenn. and Jenelle, of Chapel Hill, N.C.; stepsons, Brian Fisher, of Hilltown, Scott, of Wescosville; a stepdaughter, Jill Haines, of Bethlehem; a sister, Eleanor Cross, of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren, Liam and Dylan Ashley, Talya and Jake Grimaldi. He was predeceased by a daughter, Jayme Grimaldi; a brother, George and a sister, Rosie Abraham; stepsons, Keith R. and Bruce R. Fisher.
Contributions may be made to St. Paul Church to benefit orphaned children in Syria.
Arrangements were made by the Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
