What better way to welcome summer than to cool off in the water? Parkview Pool, 3051 S. Fifth St., will open for the 2021 season June 19. Come make a splash or relax poolside!

Patrons must have a pool pass or photo ID at every visit.

Season pass rates include the following.

Family: $140 (two adults and two children; additional child $20)

Adult: $50

Student: $40 (up to and including 2021 high school graduate)

General admission rates include the following.

Six to 61 years of age: $5 (children under 6 years old and those 62 and over free of charge)

If you want to purchase a pass, come to Parkview Pool or Cementon Pool, 5185 Dewey St., during regular hours throughout the swim season. Checks can be made payable to Whitehall Township.

Only township residents will be allowed to purchase a season pass.

Reminder: Outdoor worship services at First Presbyterian Church of Hokendauqua, 3005 S. Front St., will continue through June 13. Services start 10 a.m.

If attending, bring a lawn chair and remain distant. The services will also be livestreamed on Facebook, and the recording will be posted on the church’s website.

Services held inside will begin June 20. The indoor service also starts 10 a.m.

To maintain safety, certain rows of pews will be sectioned off from seating, and masks will be required while inside the church.

Singing will not yet take place, except for the Gloria Patri and benediction.

Attendance will be monitored, with more space available in the chapel downstairs if needed. If seated in the chapel, you will be able to watch the service through the church’s livestreaming camera system.
