Elaine M. Hause, 83, of Cedarbrook Nursing Home, died May 25, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of the late John F. Hause. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Eugene M. and Marion M. (Keiser) Scharadin.

Before retiring in 1997, she worked as a certified nurse aide at Cedarbrook for 23 years.

She enjoyed entertaining, cooking, playing in various card clubs and was a member of the Secret Pal’s Card Club.

She is survived by a son, Craig E. Chubirka, of Emmaus; a brother, Wayne and his wife, Lois, of Allentown; a sister, Marilyn L. Steinleitner and her companion, Dale Kirkpatrick, of Allentown; a granddaughter, Ashley Garrido; two great-grandsons; and a son-in-law Jack J. Klegarth. She was predeceased by a son, Robert K. and a daughter, Terry A. Klegarth.
