Cold and rainy weather did not stop the Emmaus Veterans Committee from honoring departed comrades buried in each of the six cemeteries in Emmaus May 30. Each remembrance included a short prayer service, rifle salute and the playing of taps. The program began at Calvary Cemetery, then proceeded to Old Moravian, Moravian at Ridge Street, Lutheran Reformed, Northwood and Evangelical cemeteries.
