Thelma A. Jones, 81, from Schnecksville, died peacefully May 23, 2021, surrounded by her family in her home.

Born March 8, 1940 in Catasauqua, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Kromer Sr. and the late Emma (Peters) Kromer.

She and her husband, Frederick S. Jones, shared 63 years of marriage on June 1, 2020.

She was last employed by the former Case Box Lunch, Northampton, as a line worker for several years.

She was a former member of the Young Men’s Club, Bethlehem, and she enjoyed bingo playing often at Diamond Fire Company, Walnutport.

She was a baseball fan always cheering for her NY Mets, but her greatest love was being with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons Michael Jones of Emerald, Scott Jones and wife, Lisa, of Slatington, and Matthew Jones of Bethlehem; daughters Tina Jones of Walnutport, Tammy, wife of Kenneth Richard Jr., of Northampton, and Holly, wife of Thomas Gusick, of Fogelsville; brothers Wayne Kromer of Bethlehem, and Arthur Kromer Jr. and wife, Sharon, of Hamilton, Texas; sister, Doris, wife of Ronald Christman of Bethlehem; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
