Leona V. Sabia, 96, of Kreidersville (Northampton), died May 21, 2021, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Thomas Sabia Sr.

Born in Kreidersville, she was a daughter of the late Tilghman R. and Ella M. (Cole) Vogel.

She was a 1942 Northampton High School graduate.

She was a riveter for two years at Vultee Aircraft Company, Allentown. She was then in the textile industry for 29 years and worked for Nazareth Mills; Lehigh Frocks Inc., Nazareth; and Gino and Jack’s Sportswear, Bath. She was a line worker for seven years at the former Burger King, Northampton, until she retired in 2000.

She was a member of Zion Stone United Church of Christ, Kreidersville.

She was a member of the John Birch Society.

She is survived by a daughter, Lila; and a son, Timothy and his wife Jo Anne, all of Kreidersville.

She was predeceased by a son, Thomas Jr.; and two sisters, Virginia Rabe and baby Vogel.
