Joseph F. Kluscarits Sr., of Northampton, died May 21, 2021.

He served with the Merchant Marines during World War II.

He retired from Bethlehem Steel Corporation after more than 40 years.

He was active with the St. Joseph’s Society of Northampton.

He is survived by a daughter, Carol A. Anthony of Northampton; a sister, Mary T. Kluscarits of Northampton; a son-in-law, Anthony Peters Sr.; four grandchildren, Raymond, Matthew and Brian Anthony and Anthony Peters Jr.; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son. Joseph Jr.; and a daughter, Anne Marie Peters.

Services are private.
