Carnival is coming

North Catasauqua Betterment Committee is pleased to announce the North Catasauqua small Town USA Carnival is planned for 6-10 p.m. June 9-12.

After having to cancel the 2020 event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the group is excited to hold the event in 2021, which marks the 15th anniversary of the betterment committee planning events in the borough.

The event, held at North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park, 701 Grove St., will include live music, rides, a food court, entertainment for kids and more.

Live music will be held 6:30-9:30 p.m. each night on the A&A Limousine carnival bandstand.

Set to perform are Third Hand, June 9; Waiting on Sundown, June 10; Shake, Rattle and Soul, June 11; and Flirtin’ with the Mob, June 12.

The performances are sponsored by Reichel Funeral Home, Willowbrook Golf Course, Force 1 Towing and Repair and Daku’s Auto Body Shop.

There will be additional entertainment for kids each night, including meeting Tip the Crayola Crayon.

Family nights are set for June 10 and 12. Attendees can enjoy all the rides those nights with the purchase of a one-day $15 wristband.

There is a limited supply of the four-day ride wristbands. These are available for $50 and are for presale before the carnival at North Catasauqua Borough Hall, 1066 Fourth St.
