Thomas F. “Tom” Gaffney, 69, of Schnecksville, died suddenly May 21, 2021, at his home.
He was the lifelong partner of Angela DeAngelo.
Born Oct. 30, 1951, in Eckley, Luzerne County, He was the son of the late Francis A. and Veronica (Evanko) Gaffney.
A proud graduate of the Milton Hersey School for Boys, he faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era. He was an electrical technician for Mack Trucks, Inc. before retiring.
He was a Catholic.
In addition to the love of his life, Angela, he is survived by daughters Tara L. Bihlmier (John) of Manahawkin, N.J., Jessica A. Gaffney of Madrid, Spain, and Dr. Erin E. Gaffney of Philadelphia; brothers Francis Gaffney of Hazleton, Robert Gaffney (Lori) of Freeland; and granddaughter, Kenna.
A celebration of his life will be held in August.
