CONTRIBUTED PHOTO Tiger Cub Scouts from Pack 439, which is affiliated with St. Thomas More School, get a chance to try on protective gear worn by firefighters from Western Salisbury Volunteer Fire Company during a visit to the fire company's Swain Station May 20. The Scouts learned about fire safety and how firefighters are their friends who come to help them when something goes wrong.
