Allentown Central Catholic High School celebrates Class of 2021 prom

Allentown Catholic Central Catholic School teams, clubs and athletes are among organizations recognized in recent weeks.
ACCHS recently recognized the music department including: the concert band, jazz band, marching band, color guard and choir. Members of the Central Music Department include: Emily Ahern, Rachel Appiolaza, Madison Barnes, Alex Bauer, Kaia Bognet, Tobias Broun, Andrea Brown, Mitchell Cowen, Maddie Coyle, Ashle Drisker, Avery Daniels, Jah’Kai Douglas, Robert Garza, Aidan Gibson, Liam Gibson, Gavin Grim, Hailey Horn, Tess Horn, McKly Jean-Baptiste, Benjamin Keenan, Elizabeth Kern, Jacob Kotch, Avery Lane, Anne Langan, Simon Langan, Jessamine Magalona, Meagan Niechwiadowicz, Katey Reggie, Olivia Reidy, Jonathan Romero, Juli Romero, Eva Shishler, Lauren Weaver and Natalie Woytek. Craig Albert directs the department.
Congratulations to our Science Olympiad Team. The ACCHS team placed second in Class AA Regionals to earn their 15th qualification to the Pennsylvania State Science Olympiad out of their 16 year existence. First Year Letter winners: Enzo Fantozzi, Sophia Steckel, Olivia Ulicny and Daniel Wheeler. Second Year Letter winner: Brandon Quinn. Third Year Letter winners: Josh Devers, Simon Ernst, Will McGlynn, Cooper Mello, Meagan Niechwiadowicz, Christopher Oliviera, Connor O’Neill, Nick Santos, Sam Ulicny and Natalie Woytek. Fourth Year Letter winner: Gwen Minogue. The head coach is John Rosenberger.
Great job to our dance team participants. First Year Letter winners: Indira Alvarado, Keiley Falcon, Mantana Leibenguth, Sareena Nat, Vito Reyes, Isabel Sannie, Skye Santiago and Vivian Yozzi. Second Year Letter winner: Olivia Martin-Carmona. Third Year Letter winners: Makenna Deegan, Sydney Kofroth, Madi Saylor and Josephine Yozzi. Fourth Year Letter winners: Kylie Beidler, Annah Chaya, Habigail Garcon and Olivia Seaman. Captains: Annah Chaya, Habigail Garcon and Olivia Seaman. Team directors are Adrienne Motley and Ayeisha Evans.
ACCHS students participated in the annual pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown May 13. Students visited the chapels and prayed a rosary for healing from the pandemic and in thanksgiving of our Viking Nation.
ACCHS was honored to be a part of the Sacred Heart School 25th annual Celebrity Classic Basketball Game. Students Emily Vaughan and Liam Joyce served as referees.
The Class of 2021 prom was held May 15. This year’s prom court included Emily Vaughan, Liam Gibson, Julia Vicario, Robert Garza, Daniel Wheeler, Gwendolyn Minogue, Lauren Pristas, Johnny Ganchoso, Grace Seyle, Evan Renner, Monica Vargo and David Castano. Daniel Wheeler was named Prom King and Gwendolyn Minogue was named Prom Queen.
