Morgenland Community Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, is participating in a community yard sale starting 8 a.m. May 28 and 29.

Hot dogs and refreshments will be available to purchase.

Spots are available in the church parking lot for a small fee.

Vendors must bring their own tables and tents.

Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, in celebration of “World Otter Day” the Zoo will host World Otter Week May 23-28.

Throughout the week, they will feature a variety of crafts and activities themed around otters and their conservation efforts.

Zoo Ambassadors will be scheduled at interactive exhibits each day (weather permitting) to chat with guests and answer questions about specific animals.

Stop by and visit with Naya and Luani, two North American River Otters residing at the Zoo to learn about their conservation status, diets, and native habitats.

Throughout the week the zoo will also be featuring a lineup of keeper chats themed around otters.

Stop by May 26 to enter the zoo’s Fishy Fun Day raffle for a chance to win an otter feeding encounter.
