Pennsylvania’s Music Preservation Society (PAMPS) will not produce the Great Pennsylvania Music Celebration during Memorial Day as it did in 2018 and 2019.

PAMPS is presenting a concert featuring Jimmy Sturr & His Orchestra, Bill Haley Jr. & the Comets and Steve Brosky, 3 - 7 p.m. June 26, MainGate, 448 N. 17th St., Allentown.

PAMPS plans “Music for Heroes” table seating for military veterans’ groups and members of volunteer medical organizations of Lehigh County.

Sturr, American polka musician, trumpeter, clarinetist and saxophonist, has received five gold records and 18 Grammy Awards.

The Comets is a five-piece combo featuring Bill Haley, Jr. sharing the inside stories and historical of his father’s songs.
