Maria Sorrentino, 87, formerly of Ironton, died on May 12, 2021, at Whitehall Manor surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of the late Antonio Sorrentino.

Born Sept. 19, 1933, in Naples, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Caterina (Buricco) Pizzo.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Her survivors include children Marie Valerio and her husband, Victor, of Lakeland, Fla., Ciro Sorrentino and his wife, Rose, of Ironton, John Sorrentino Sr. and his wife, Antonina, of Ironton, Antonio Sorrentino Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Schnecksville; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a grandson, John Sorrentino Jr.
