Students who would like to get a head start on their college education can have the option to sign up for summer sessions at Lehigh Carbon Community College.
Two five-week sessions and one 10-week session are open to continuing and new LCCC students.
Many students use the credits they earn in the summer to transfer to a university in order to keep up or get ahead in their degree program.
Sign up now for the following summer sessions:
•Five-week option: July 6 to Aug. 11.
Classes are offered online and face-to-face at campuses in Schnecksville, Allentown and Tamaqua.
Students can take courses in art, accounting, astronomy, nursing, biology, nutrition, anatomy and physiology, business, chemistry, computers, criminal justice, education, English, languages, geography, history, math, music, philosophy, psychology, sociology, and more.
Tuition and fees are $158 per credit for students from one of LCCC’s sponsoring school districts and $279 per credit for other Pennsylvania residents.
Tuition and fees are due at the time of registration. New students can apply for admission online atlccc.edu. Those seeking a degree must complete a placement test, or meet requirements for exemption, and meet with an advisor before registering for classes.
Students may pay online or in person at the Business Office in Schnecksville, as well as sites in Tamaqua and Allentown.
