Earl H. Rumble, 74, of Slatington, died May 11, 2021, in his home surrounded by his loving family.

He and his wife, Colleen R. (McFarland) Rumble, were married 54 years.

Born May 7, 1947, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Warren Rumble Sr. and Ruth (Dorshimer) Rumble.

He was a farmer at Krause Farms, Washington Township, for more than 50 years.

Between 1966 and 1978, he concurrently worked as a forklift operator in the canning plant at ALPO in South Whitehall Township.

He was a member of Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by children Tracey L. Hess of Wescosville, Jonas E. Rumble (Christina) of Macungie, Matthew J. Rumble (Lori) of Whitehall; siblings Truann Berger (Gerald) of Orefield, Donald Rumble (Susan) of Schnecksville, Larry Rumble (Carol) of Florida; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by brothers, Richard and Warren Rumble Jr.
