PRESS PHOTOS BY ETHAN HASSICK The fifth annual fundraiser to benefit Truth For Women and help raise awareness and funds to support the fight against sex trafficking in the Lehigh Valley was held May 1 at Bell Gate Farm, 7081 Bell Gate Road, Coopersburg. The event included live music, an open bar, southern fare, a “Truth Derby Race,” Kentucky Derby Live, photos with a racehorse and jockey, Michelle Laughlin two-time World Champion in Amateur Cutting show, as well as “Dress to Impress” Kentucky Derby style awards. Truth For Women is a nonprofit organization offering sanctuary for survivors of sex trafficking through its Truth Home, a safe haven for emergency stabilization. Through its 24-hour care, the Truth Home empowers women to heal and create a new future.
