Fleeing or attempting to elude an officer
Jose Orland Maisonet, 25, of Allentown, was taken into custody for allegedly fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, driving under the influence, recklessly endangering another person and related charges after a trooper attempted a traffic stop at Oplinger Road and Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:57 p.m. April 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The pursuit ended when the vehicle Maisonet was operating crashed into an unattended vehicle.
Aaron Cooper Krieg, 27, of Wescosville, was apprehended after a foot pursuit when he allegedly ran from his residence when state police troopers arrived to investigate a single vehicle hit and run crash in the 1100 block of Grange Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:46 a.m. March 28, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Krieg was suspected of driving under the influence and allegedly refused to consent to providing a blood sample.
Retail theft
Two people removed merchandise from shelves, placed the merchandise in a bag and left without paying at CVS Pharmacy, 958 S. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, March 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A resident of Barnside Road, Lower Macungie Township, placed an ad on a social media site to sell an iPhone for $850. A respondent to the ad pretended to overpay and asked the seller to pay back the difference of $650, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The buyer had not paid the Lower Macungie Township resident for the cellphone. The incident was reported March 22.

DUI
Thomas Gerard Recker, 26, of Emmaus, was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence after the pickup truck he was driving struck a utility pole in the 4100 block of Mill Road, Upper Milford Township, 12:32 a.m. March 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle was northbound on a left curve when Recker allegedly lost control and went off the shoulder of the road.
Hannah N. Baughman, 33, of Macungie, allegedly was driving under the influence in a one-vehicle accident at the intersection of Chestnut Road and Mountain Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:44 p.m. March 24, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 54-year-male, of Alburtis, was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Macungie Road and Millbrook Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 12:10 a.m. March 30, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 42-year-old female, of Alburtis, allegedly was driving under the influence when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree in the 3500 block of Dillingersville Road, Lower Milford Township, 3:10 a.m. April 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 24-year-old male, of East Stroudsburg, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Chestnut Street and North Perkiomen Street, Emmaus borough, 12:42 a.m. April 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 21-year-old male, of Wescosville, allegedly punched another person on the side of the head during an argument at a residence in the 1100 block of Tee Court, Lower Macungie Township, 4:26 p.m. April 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 53-year-old male, of Macungie, allegedly pushed another male when he attempted to intervene in a fight between the older male and another person at a location in the 2600 block of Rolling Green Place, Lower Macungie Township, 3:07 a.m. Feb. 7, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Theft from vehicle
Items were removed from three vehicles and another vehicle was vandalized while parked at Spring Creek Park, Goor Street and Danner Road, Lower Macungie Township, April 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Theft
Two adults and three children entered Italiano Delight restaurant, 1985 Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township and ordered a pizza 6:20 p.m. March 19. The adults paid for the pizza with a $30 gift card, however, did not pay the remaining $4 of the bill and left the restaurant, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 55-year-old female, of Easton, who lost her wallet at Whole Foods, 750 N. Krocks Road, Suite 301, Lower Macungie Township, reported while still at Whole Foods she received phone alerts from her credit card companies concerning fraudulent transactions at a store located in the Lehigh Valley Mall, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident occurred between noon March 5 and noon March 7.

A resident of Autumn Ridge Road, Lower Macungie Township, received mail from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry stating the resident had filed for unemployment but the resident had not filed for unemployment, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The resident notified authorities May 4.
