SHS names student of the week

Q. In what grade are you currently enrolled?

A. I am in 12th grade at Salisbury High School.

Q. Who is in your family? Please provide the first names of your family members: parents, siblings and pets.

A. There’s me, my mother Kelly, father Jeremy and brother Cole (graduate of Salisbury High School).

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject is science because it gives the foundation of how things work.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. I have received team MVP for varsity baseball my sophomore year, I earned a spot on the Lehigh Valley Carpenter Cup team for baseball, team MVP for basketball my junior year and MVP for basketball summer league championship.

Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? How has COVID-19 impacted these activities?

A. I am involved in Salisbury varsity baseball and Salisbury varsity basketball.

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A. My goal for after school is to go to a four-year college and succeed in academics and athletics.

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A. My biggest challenge to date was my work ethic, being able to complete all my work for academics and working for my athletic goals.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. I would like to be remembered as a successful athlete who also was a successful mind.

Q. Whom do you admire? Why?

A. I admire every adult around me who has been successful, I want to grow up and live a life that I admire and want to have.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. The advice I would give to my peers is that they should put distractions to the side and if you truly want something then work as hard as you can to achieve that.
