Public Library of Catasauqua: Endings and beginnings

All good books have a beginning that makes you want to read on and an ending that makes you wish for more.

In the same way, Sandra Arden began her time as the library director at the Public Library of Catasauqua by leading the library into the future and has left us wishing for more of her guidance and creativity.

She retired April 30, and we wish her every blessing in this new phase of her life.

Kath Morris is beginning her new post as library director. She has been associated with the library since 2002 and is moving from library assistant to director.

She is looking to the future and will serve the communities of Catasauqua, North Catasauqua and Hanover Township in technology, expanding the book collection and programming.

The Morris family said their final farewell to their mother in February. Another ending, but in looking for a way to honor Clara Morris’ memory, they kindly donated new shelving to the children’s room, so a new beginning for the library.

As we look to the future, this is not the end of the story.

Come and be part of the next chapter!
