Whitehall-Coplay School District and Newhard Pharmacy are teaming up to host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic in the Whitehall High School LGI room noon-6 p.m. May 26.

The second dose follow-up vaccination will be three weeks later, June 16, during the same time frame and at the same location.

The Pfizer vaccine will be offered to anyone 12 and older and is free of charge. If interested in receiving the vaccination, register by May 24.

Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email that will provide you with detailed instructions on where to park and where to report (there will be WCSD staff on site to assist with directing you to the parking and vaccination areas). You will also receive a consent form, which must be filled out ahead of time and brought with you to the vaccination site. Lastly, you will receive a prompt to register for your second round dose June 16.

Please note registration is based on five-minute increments, which will begin noon and run through 6 p.m., thus you will see three stations to choose from when you start the registration process. You may click any of the three station links to choose the best time that works for you based on what is available.

Whitehall High School Theatre is excited to announce the spring production of “Shrek the Musical.” Due to limits on gatherings and the continued renovation of the WHS auditorium, the show was filmed live on stage at Civic Theatre of Allentown, and it will be streamed for audiences 7 p.m. May 28 and 29.

Each ticket includes one streaming code that can be used to watch the show on a single device. If you plan to have a viewing party with multiple people watching one screen, please consider making a donation to the program via showtix for the additional viewership.

High school students have a great opportunity for custodial summer work. The day shift is Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday for 29.5 hours per week at $9 per hour.
